Masterclasses for M&M Cross Functional Team

TCW built training modules, tools and conducted masterclasses on Colour, Material and Finish (CMF) training for Mahindra & Mahindra’s material management team. Material management team does developments of a wide range of Automotive system like instrument panel (dashboard), door trim, floor console, seats etc. TCW team work closely with the Mahindra & Mahindra design studio, responsible for taking up the developments from samples to final vehicle interiors. Navdeep was an external CMF faculty member, alongside an internal CMF head and conducted multiple runs of the 3 day masterclass sessions to cover the training of 120 employees.

Main outputs of the class included balancing subjective emotional experiences with objective colour understanding using objects from everyday life, automobile samples, colour theory, applications directions and developing CMF vocabulary. The intent of these masterclasses was - smoother functioning between design studio and development team, supporting CMF cell to develop creative skill sets that merges with everyday functions, identified skill sets to be built - Creative & Functional.
